We travelled to Oudtshoorn this past weekend, and Chinzi had two Dog Jumping rounds. The first she popped out the poles and knocked a bar, so we had 10 faults unfortunately.
The second round, the tunnel was just tooo much of a magnet and we DQ'd. :) She had so much fun though and her mom learnt a lot.
Unfortunately there was a really sad ending to a fun weekend, when we came home to find Chinzi's best friend, our kitty Casper, had died. On top of everything, it is still a mystery as to what happened to him. He had no bruises or any signs on his body of what could have happened. No internal bleeding or injuries, nothing. He was only 4 years old and in perfect health. We are still awaiting the results of further tests.Chinzi is missing him so so much, she's watching the door every morning for him to come in and tease her for their morning game of chase, but to no avail. Chinzi, my heart breaks for you... Casper rest in peace, you were the best cat ever and so sweet with the dogs. You will always be remembered with extreme fondness and love by us all.
