My Chinzi !
She spent her first few weeks with 8 other littermates, and lots of big dogs. Apparently she was the smallest in the litter. After both her sisters were picked by handlers who was part of the SA team who won the Large Team Event at the 2005 FCI World Agility Championships, one who owns her father Chi, Chinzi was put on a flight to Cape Town, and I met her for the first time at the airport.
She was quiet and shy all the way in the car, back to a show where all my agility friends were waiting to meet her.
Everybody loved her straight away, and in time she crept deep into the hearts of everyone who came to know her. She can entertain herself for hours by playing on her own with holding one toy in her mouth, and kicking a ball around with her feet. Chinzi is really a special girl and has lightened up my life.
Well, I can only hope she follows in her father's Agility footsteps! Watch this space! :)

Chinzi Go Tops FDX !
On the Jumping side Chinz had a day of 5 faults... she unfortunately knocked a bar in every round, but still managed a 3rd place in Contact and 1st in Non-Contact. She worked well, at exceptional speed, with accurate contacts and lovely weave-pole entries. Well done Chinz, you're a pleasure to own, to love and to run.

My first Regional Trials!
Chinzi had a magnificant weekend! Her first ever Regional Trials saw her achieve 5 first places from her 8 rounds, of which 4 were qualifications! She moved up to Agility grade 2 within one weekend! Well done my girl!
Her times were fast and I am very very happy with her performance. She was also a member of the winning flyball team, the Boland Flyers, who won Gold medals by winning the overall competition as well as both individual RT's, with times of 19.16 and 19.25 seconds. Chinzi earned a total of 62 points, earning her the title of Flyball Dog.
Boland Flyers from the left: Sarah with Comet, me with Chinzi, Karen with Ike and Roche with Beau.
Unfortunately not much video was taken, but here is one of Chinzi's fastest Jumping rounds, where she unfortunately knocked a bar.
Her first Agility round where she qualified.
Photos of her beautiful rosettes to follow as soon as the rain gives us a chance to have a mini photo shoot! :)
